- GPSS is the student organization that works to improve all aspects of the graduate school experience at USC. You are already a member of GPSS if you are a graduate or professional student-- just start showing up at events! You are represented by one or more students from your department/school at a monthly senate meeting (GPSS = Grad and Prof Student Senate). GPSS chips in to fund travel to conferences. GPSS works to make sure graduate students receive the best possible medical insurance, stipend, etc... GPSS plans nights out on the town, tailgates, cultural events, and more. What happened to all the free food at graduate events? My tuition is going up not down, that makes me expect MORE not LESS food.
What baffles me is why a University committed to higher education would not have a 24-hour study room.
